Ford e-Mustang beat Alfa Romeo already

04/02/2021 David Zatz

The Ford Mustang Mach E, an all-electric car that just entered production, has already managed to beat all of Alfa Romeo and Fiat in sales.

Ford has sold 6,614 Mustang Mach Es so far. Last quarter, Fiat eked out 815 US sales and Alfa Romeo, with its three models and a 25% gain in sales, managed just 4,646 sales.

Ford’s electric crossover also managed to outrun the Chrysler 300 in sales, but that’s not a fair comparison, especially since the 300 shares so much with the Dodge Charger (19,740 sales for the quarter).

If Dodge came out with a mid-sized hybrid pickup it would sell like hot-cakes!!
