The core technologies of the car, though, have already been proven in the Formula E racing series.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.autobison.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/12\/lucid.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-875\" src=\"https:\/\/www.autobison.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/12\/lucid.jpg\" alt=\"Lucid Motors electric car\" width=\"710\" height=\"388\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.autobison.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/12\/lucid.jpg 710w, https:\/\/www.autobison.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/12\/lucid-440x240.jpg 440w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 710px) 100vw, 710px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The company dates back to 2007, and also includes a former vice president of Tesla and the better-known company\u2019s former head of production. The Lucid plant, which is being subsidized by Arizona, will cost around $240 million in its first phase.<\/p>\n<p>Lucid does plan to license its electric powertrain, which Rawlinson claimed to be \u201cworld class,\u201d in both the motor and the inverter design.
