{"id":789,"date":"2019-11-09T13:23:35","date_gmt":"2019-11-09T18:23:35","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.autobison.com\/?p=789"},"modified":"2019-11-09T13:23:35","modified_gmt":"2019-11-09T18:23:35","slug":"tesla-truck-coming-soon","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.autobison.com\/2019\/11\/tesla-truck-coming-soon\/","title":{"rendered":"Tesla truck coming soon!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>In a recent announcement by Elon Musk on Twitter, the highly anticipated Tesla pickup truck (Cybertruck) will finally be revealed on November 21 in Los Angeles near the SpaceX rocket factory.<\/p>\n<p>Musk has said some ambitious things about the upcoming pickup truck. The starting price will be below $50,000 and Musk has also said that this new truck will outperform a Porsche 911 and a Ford F-150. 400-500 miles of range will likely be offered, which is generally the gas range of class 1 trucks equipped with a 30+ gallon fuel tank.<\/p>\n<p><img src=\"https:\/\/electrek.co\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2019\/03\/Tesla-pickup-truck-teaser.jpeg?quality=82&amp;strip=all\" alt=\"Image result for tesla truck teaser image\" \/><\/p>\n<p>From the above image, there is not much to analyze. The front-end of the truck gives off a thin strip of lighting that wraps around angular body lines. The image also gives the impression that the truck is actually fairly tall. Since Musk hinted at the F-150 as the benchmark, we expect it to be about the same height (but maybe not have the same dimensions). The Tesla logo is mounted promptly in what looks like the middle of the hood. Other than a burly looking front-end with bright lighting, there is not much else to say about the teaser image.<\/p>\n<p>Speculation with regards to the upcoming Cybertruck has been quite interesting. Some have said the towing capacity will be north of 100,000 pounds. Others have said that the truck will have 0-60 times in under 3 seconds.
