The Ford Bronco lineup made its debut Monday night. There will be 3 variants offered. These are the 2-door, 4-door, and Sport. There is a lot to unpack so let us break it down.

The Bronco will be built alongside the Ranger in the USA while sharing its 2.3-liter engine making 270 horsepower. A manual will be optional only with the 2.3-liter. A 2.7-liter engine can be had and will make around 310 horsepower and 400 lb-ft of torque. A 10-speed automatic is standard. There will be a crawl gear for the 7-speed manual for tough terrains.

All Broncos have an independent front suspension and a tuned suspension that will make going over bumps easier at high speeds. A “Sasquatch” suspension will be available for the most off-road capable experience along with 7 different drive modes called G.O.A.T mode. 4-wheel-drive is standard on all Broncos with a turn assist that uses the inside rear brakes to help handling and sharp turns. A two-speed transfer case and an upgraded full-time 4WD system are offered. A front and rear locking differential are available on two and four-door versions while Sport buyers can only get a locking rear differential. The stabilizer bar can be disconnected when equipped properly, giving the SUV some additional flex and then can reconnect as speeds increase. When configured with the lockers and stabilizer bar disconnect, along with the 35-inch tires, the Bronco can ford 33.5 inches of water and has best-in-class approach, departure, and breakover angles.

Ford designed the Bronco lineup to be fun yet practical. The two and four-door versions will have removable doors and roofs. The doors can fit in the rear and are frameless, making them easier to remove. A swing-out tailgate is complimented with a slide-out a tray that can be used as a seat or table. Goodies in the interior include an optional 12-inch touchscreen, drain plugs, waterproof switchgear, a 360-degree camera, blind-spot monitoring, and emergency braking. There will be over 100 accessories available on the Sport and over 200 accessories on the two and four-door models.

Pricing is expected to start at $29,995 for the two and four-door models with six trim options, giving potential buyers lots of options. Ford is currently taking $100 deposits for the two and four-door versions with a limited production “First Edition” being available at launch.
