After much debate about whether the C8 Corvette will go overseas, we can now confirm that there will be a right-hand-drive Corvette. The 2021 C8 Corvette will be available to European dealers in the second half of 2021. However, offerings will be different compared to the United States spec.<\/p>\n

First off, the 2LT will be the standard trim which comes with a heads-up display, Bose stereo system, performance data recorder, heated\/ventilated seats, and a rear camera mirror. What is also interesting is that the European Corvette will also come standard with the Z51 package which includes a performance exhaust system, beefier Brembo brakes, Michelin Pilot Sport 4s tires, shorting gearing, and new aero pieces along with manually adjustable threaded spring seats. A launch edition model will also be available which is essentially a fully optioned C8 with the 3LT package.<\/p>\n

Pricing for the Corvette overseas carries a heavy price tag. In the United Kingdom, the launch edition for the standard top starts at 81,700 pounds, which is currently equivalent to $102,873 in the states. The convertible will run you 87,110 pounds which is $109,685 in the U.S.<\/p>\n

These prices are certainly approaching some serious supercar numbers but the C8 has impressed many with its relentless performance both in a straight line and on the track.
