Lincoln Corsair Coupe Rendering

Crossover coupes are a hot item in the luxury segment right now, with BMW, Audi, Mercedes-Benz, and several others already having jumped into that space. The Lincoln Corsair was a good place to start this rendering, as the new design language translates well to a swoopy fastback crossover. In fact, we think this rendering of a Corsair Coupe looks more proportional than something like a Mercedes-Benz GLC-Coupe, which would be a prime competitor.

Despite being considered crossovers, we prefer to think of these vehicles as evolved versions of the sedan with higher ground clearance and a larger cargo space. With the decline of the sedan market in the United States, we would be happy to see new fastback crossovers, possibly bearing the names of iconic sedans like “Continental”, “Impala”, or “300” to keep the legacy attached to those names alive.
