AutoBison General Motors GMC Hummer EV to debut this fall

GMC Hummer EV to debut this fall

The pandemic has delayed many auto shows and has barred many manufacturers from debuting their new vehicles. One of the most highly anticipated cars of 2020 has to be the GMC Hummer truck. The fully electric Hummer is set to make 1,000 horsepower, over 10,000 lb-ft of torque, go 0-60 in about 3 seconds, and will have other interesting bits such as an open-air experience thanks to the removable roof.

Introducing the First Ever GMC HUMMER EV | Electric Truck

Originally scheduled for May, it is now learned that the Hummer will be fully revealed sometime this fall. GM did not give a specific date but they did also mention that production will start in the fall of 2021. We also learned that there is likely an SUV version of the Hummer EV coming but details around this are scarce.

The GMC Hummer EV will go up against the Cybertruck and perhaps the Rebel TRX, which is set to debut later this summer.
