Musk dances on stage as Tesla launches SUV program in China
Tesla is once again the center of attention. This time, Musk enthusiastically danced on the stage at the launch of the Model Y electric sports utility vehicle program in China.
The company delivered new cars in just 357 days out of its new Shanghai factory, which cost about $2 billion to build. The first 10 customers from the public received their China-made Model 3 sedans on Tuesday. Musk also went on to say that “ultimately Tesla Model Y will have more demand than probably all the other cars of Tesla combined.”
Tesla is gaining some serious momentum right now with stock prices passing expectations each day. More cars are being delivered and Tesla recently hit a record for sales in a single quarter. With Fisker getting back in the game soon and other manufacturers coming out with their electric vehicles, Tesla will have to stay on its toes to make sure they do not fall through.
