Chevrolet Introduces 2021 Silverado Realtree Edition
After falling behind Ram in the pickup sales race, Chevrolet has begun upping the ante with a new special edition model. The Silverado Realtree edition might seem kind of odd, but remember, especially in southern states, many people modify their pickups with camouflage accents, so offering this from the factory will be a good way for GM to target those buyers.
The Silverado Realtree edition is based on the Custom Trailboss trim level, which is already decent value in that it bundles a base interior with numerous features designed to enhance off-road capability such as Goodyear Wrangler MT tires, a 2″ factory lift, and the Z71 package that includes monotube Rancho shocks, skid plates, hill decent control, and other off-road gear.
The Realtree edition builds on the Custom Trail Boss by including Realtree camouflage graphics, black badging, black exhaust tips, black side steps, and camouflage accent pieces on the interior. It also includes a standard bedliner featuring the Realtree logo. The Realtree edition is offered with either the 5.3L or 6.2L V8 and includes 20″ wheels. It should be obvious that this truck is only available with 4WD, but it’s still worth stating.
Pricing has not yet been announced, but GM has stated that the truck will go on sale this summer.
