Mustang Mach-E First Editions Reservation Full
It seemed that Ford putting the Mustang name on a CUV, an electric powered one at that, generated a little bit of controversy among the Mustang faithful.
However, Ford has announced that it has filled the reservation list for the First Edition models of the Mustang Mach-E. The First Edition costs $61,000 and is based on the AWD extended-range model. Ford hasn’t said how big the reservation list is for this model, but it cost $500 (refundable) to get a spot on the First Edition list.
Other trims are still open for reservations. Ford hasn’t commented on how many First Editions will be built, other than to say total first year production is limited to 50,000 units. The First Edition costs $61,000 and is based on the AWD extended-range model.
Some interesting facts from Ford on the Mach-E reservation data so far:
- Carbonized Gray is the most popular color
- AWD was specified in more than half of the reservations
- California accounts for more than a quarter of the reservations
- The extended range battery was selected for over 80%of the reservations
