FCA June Sales
FCA reported June 2019 sales for the US brands:
- Jeep down 12% – For Jeep, only the Grand Cherokee posted a sales gain. Gladiator moved 4231 units.
- Ram up 45% – The pickup provided the vast majority of the sales, with Ram pickups up 56% from last year.
- Chrysler down 4% – Pacifica managed a 10% gain, but 300 sales fell again.
- Dodge down 17% – Charger sales were up substantially at 36% and Durango sales were up 4%. The remaining vehicles fell.
- Total sales (including Alfa and Fiat) were up 2% to 206,083, with 156,588 retail and 49,495 fleet.
Head of U.S. Sales Reid Bigland said. “This is now the third month Ram pickup sales have surpassed 60,000 since December. Our dealers had a steady stream of customers all month long.”
Ford and GM will release quarter two sales later.
